1. Write correctly and hit what readers are looking for
There is a saying that I find extremely true: “If you create content that
serves everyone, no one will read it”. Writing content that viewers really
crave is the most important. That helps us build relationships with our readers. They will trust, love, and do what you say
To do this, you need to identify who
your audience is, what their problems and concerns are. List them all out and
then use them to write articles. You need to solve a problem for them, make
them better, help them troubleshoot or help them gain more knowledge. Always
keep this mantra in mind: “Writing must be useful to the viewer.” Take the role
of a viewer to write.
For example, my readers are mainly
nursing mothers, so for articles sharing travel experiences, I will always pay
attention to the aspect of having small children with me: things to prepare,
schedule What to eat and where to play to be suitable for families with babies.
2. Captivating article.
Now, readers are increasingly lazy to
read and quickly skim content. So right from the title of the article, it must
be in the focus of what the reader wants to see. Moreover, it must attract and
arouse curiosity before they continue reading.
Your blog post should be titled
according to the following structure: Target audience + Problem/what you want
to hear/concern + Solve/number. Articles on FB can be titled the same or
shortened. When sharing on each facebook group, each audience is different, you
write the title + the name of your audience.
For example, if I wanted to write an article about my trip to Bangkok 6d5d last month, the full title would need to include the following: breastfeeding mother + traveling to Bangkok with children + sharing experiences. Instead of a boring title like "Bangkok travel experience 6n5d with children", I "transformed" into: "Wandering with my children in Bangkok 6d5d". Sounds more appealing, right?
3. Vivid visuals
Immediately after the title, the
second thing viewers look at will be the avatar of the article. If you think
about it, do you stop when on the way to surfing social networks, you suddenly
come across a beautiful image? Or skip it quickly when you accidentally see
something ugly and unattractive.
Therefore, the image must be related
to the article, beautiful, with you as possible, and must have the title of the
article in it. In addition, the illustrations in the article also need to be
visually vivid. Please carefully select each image to ensure the right topic,
accompanied by illustrative captions. You can use Canva software to design so
shimmering.
For example, with articles in the
topic Vi vu with children, I often use images from my own field trips. If you
don't have a picture of the owner, you can also find it on the internet. But
remember to clearly credit the source to respect the author!
4. The most compelling content summary
Next, the reader will read the lead
immediately below the title. This part is extremely important. It helps readers
see if the article is exactly what they need, which is the content for them to
decide whether to stay in your article longer.
Therefore, this section must be on the
topic they are interested in, summarizing the most attractive content.
For example, in the lead of the article Wandering with children in Bangkok, I wrote: "In this article, I will share what you need to know about traveling to Bangkok and suggest a suitable 6d5d itinerary when there are children in the group. small."
5. Have an authentic personal
experience
Unless you're a celebrity who writes
nonsense and has fans watching. If not, the average person, if you want to
build a brand, you have to bring your personality from writing, experience, and
self-identification to make the article more attractive and customers will
remember you longer.
Honestly, because of my writing
career, my style is not as soft as some other bloggers. But compensating for
this is the honesty in each of his articles. All the stories of Free Motherhood
are taken from my own experience. Some events I can't remember clearly because
it's been a long time, I researched again on the internet. But then they all
put it back into the original story line that I forgot.
So, my experience is to write
honestly, because sincerity will help you touch the hearts of readers.
6. Easy-to-see layout, moderate length
Just imagine that while surfing the
net, your eyes are suddenly flooded with a bunch of text, hard to read, right,
you don't even read it. Or a lengthy article that drags on and doesn't reach
the end, making you really regret that you missed clicking the see more button.
Therefore, in terms of layout, the
article should be divided into small sections with titles for readers to easily
follow. Each section is divided into short paragraphs of a few lines. As for
the length, on the blog you can explain it more thoroughly (maybe up to a few
thousand words) but on facebook it must be concise, focused, up to 2 times the
length of the phone screen.
I often write very detailed and specific sharing articles on the blog. Then shorten the main ideas to a moderate length, while ensuring an easy-to-see layout to post on FB. And leave the link in the comment section of the article for anyone who wants to learn more, please go to my blog.
7. Have a call to action call to action
An article without a call to action or
a call to action, the reader will just read it and then leave it. Unless you
write for fun, doing so is a waste of traffic. Writing must have a purpose.
List the goals you want to achieve in the post/blog: Building a personal brand, Interactive comments, likes.
If you want readers to comment a lot,
ask interactive questions, if you want them to share, you have to tell the
viewers that you see it or share it, if you want customers to buy, please
suggest the scarcity, the price is about to increase, others have bought it
with good results. Depending on the lesson that you use all 4 purposes or
only use one of them.
For example, under each post, I
usually write: "If you find the article interesting and useful, please
like and share to let more people know!"
8. Post in the right place to gather target
audience
This is the secret to getting
"thousands of views and thousands of likes". If you post the article
in the right place where many people are interested in that content, the post
will automatically get a lot of interaction. Otherwise, you must have a large
following. But to do that, you still have to go and share good content to
groups with many target viewers.
From the customer analysis table you
make a list of all potential groups. Share every day a shortened article from
the blog, get the best parts, make an image with a good title to get more
attention. If the group is difficult, don't leave a link to your blog post, you
can leave it on the comment section. Don't write too PR, but focus on readers
giving useful things that they care about they like.
For example, I posted the article
Wandering with children in Bangkok 6n5đ on Tourism groups such as Thailand
Tourism, Self-sufficient Thai travel experiences, Let children go out to play,
etc. Because these are groups with many viewers. The goal should be that my
article receives a pretty good interaction.
9. Posting on prime time
Golden hour is the time when people
are online the most. And when you post at that time, there is a high chance
that more people will see your post, leading to higher engagement.
You can refer to your following golden hours: Morning: 8am-9am, If writing for young people, add a late time frame from 22h to 23h
I had a painful experience when I
posted in the middle of the night, and as a result, there was not much
interaction because no one was awake at that time. So please post at the right
time!
10. For Blog/Website, need to know
more about SEO and marketing
If you want your website to be found
on the first page of Google, you must know how to write SEO-standard content.
Understanding is a way to write content so that Google's search engine can
understand what the content is about, whether it is quality or not. From there,
Google will push the website's content to the top of Google. In addition, you
must also know how to market traffic (visits) to blogs/websites using social
networks.
For example, with the article
Wandering with children in Bangkok 6n5đ on my blog, I have to adjust all the
structure for SEO standards such as: the title contains the main keyword,
shorten the link, introduce about 3-4 lines, ... Then I share this article (and
some other small articles) on my personal FB as well as related groups to drive
traffic to the blog, specifically, I invite you to see more:
- Full blog post
- Related article How to make Thailand
